Today I'm publishing a new version of my blog using basic html/css, instead of using ghost. While ghost is an awesome blogging platform (and you should check it out if you haven't already), I couldn't help but feel it was bloated for my use case. Ultimately, I just want to write small posts for cool things that interest me. As a fan of minimalism, I couldn't resist going back to a pure html/css site! I may tweak some things here or there, but my plan is to keep this overall template for the foreseeable future.
Today I'm launching an MVP of my first solo project - FSABuddy! FSABuddy aims to make it easier to spend your unused FSA/HSA funds by providing a series of tools in a single page. While it's not the most technically challenging project, I hope some folks find it useful. I plan to write separate blog post in the future for some lessons I learned during its development, as this was the first project I used AI coding tools to tackle end-to-end.
